Your applications are written by a model
Every application is written by Claude, running on your own machine with your own Claude account. Nothing about it is written by hand by us, and there is no template it is copied from.
What that means for correctness
A model can be wrong in ways that are hard to spot. Every app is tried out in several ways before it reaches you, which catches a great deal and cannot catch everything. Treat a new app the way you would treat any new software: try it before you depend on it.
Who owns what it writes
You do. We claim no rights in the app, what you keep in it, or anything it produces. Your use of the AI is governed by your own agreement with Anthropic.
The assistant inside an app
Every app has an assistant that can do whatever the app's own buttons can. Anything that deletes or replaces what you kept waits for you to agree first. What it sends to Claude is what you ask and what the app tells it to answer you - nothing else.
Training
We do not train models, and we never receive what you ask for or what is made — so there is nothing of yours for us to train on.
What we will not help make
Applications built to deceive, to damage the person who installs them, or to break the law. Publishing one to the store is grounds for removing it.
